Terms & Conditions (Character Dating)

Welcome to Character Dating. By accessing our site, creating an account, purchasing a tier, or using any feature (including My Grandmaster Sessions), you agree to these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). If you don’t agree, please don’t use the platform.

1) Who We Are
Character Dating is an online, character-driven matching and roleplay experience. We provide tools that help members explore scripted interactions, resonance sessions, and community connection. We are not a dating guarantee, a talent agency, a therapy provider, or a background-check service.

2) Eligibility & Account Integrity
You must be legally allowed to use this service in your country and meet any age requirements shown during signup. You agree to provide accurate account information and keep your login credentials secure. You may use a Stage Name publicly; impersonation, identity fraud, or misrepresentation is not allowed.

3) Your Stage Name, Content, and Conduct
Character Dating is a performance space with real people behind the masks. You agree to:

• treat other members with respect and obtain consent before escalating intimacy, intensity, or sensitive themes;

• avoid harassment, hate speech, threats, coercion, stalking, doxxing, or any attempt to identify someone’s real-world identity;

• never share private contact details, payment details, or personal identifiers of others;

• never upload illegal content or content that violates someone else’s rights.

We may remove content or restrict accounts that violate these Terms or harm community safety.

4) My Grandmaster Sessions (User-Generated Content)
If you record or upload sessions, you confirm you have the rights and permissions to do so. You retain ownership of your content, but you grant Character Dating a limited license to host, store, process, and display it solely to operate and improve the service (for example: playback, scoring, matching, and safety moderation). You can delete sessions and/or your account as described in your privacy controls.

5) Resonance Scores, Matching, and No Guarantees
Resonance scoring and matching are probabilistic tools—not promises. We don’t guarantee compatibility, outcomes, responses from other members, or any specific results. You are responsible for your choices and interactions on and off the platform.

6) Tiers, Payments, Renewals, and Access
Some features require a paid tier (e.g., Standard, Hollywood, A‑List, Oscar). Prices, billing frequency, and included benefits are shown at checkout and may vary by region. If your plan renews automatically, you authorize recurring charges until you cancel. We may change tiers, features, or pricing in the future; when required, we’ll provide notice through the platform or via email.

7) Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellation stops future renewals but does not automatically reverse charges already processed. Refund eligibility (if any) depends on what you purchased, how it was delivered/used, and applicable consumer laws in your region. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us promptly using the support details on the site.

8) Privacy & Data Use
Your use is also governed by our Privacy Protocol. In summary: we minimize data collection, use Stage Names publicly, store data securely (Wix EU), and provide GDPR rights including access, export, erasure, and stealth visibility controls. Tier-based data handling applies: Standard/Hollywood may use anonymized trends for algorithm refinement; A‑List/Oscar is kept in a Private Vault and excluded from B2B sharing.

9) Safety Tools, Moderation, and Enforcement
We may use a combination of automated and human review to enforce safety and integrity. We can suspend or terminate accounts, remove content, or limit features if we believe there’s a violation, risk, or legal requirement. We may also cooperate with lawful requests where required.

10) Intellectual Property
The Character Dating platform, brand, design, and underlying technology are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reverse engineer, scrape, or exploit the service except as allowed by law.

11) Service Availability & Changes
We aim for reliable uptime, but the service may be interrupted for maintenance, updates, or events outside our control. Features may evolve; we may add, modify, or discontinue parts of the platform.

12) Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Character Dating does not provide medical, psychological, legal, or professional advice.

13) Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Character Dating will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service or interactions with other members.

14) Termination
You may stop using the service at any time and can delete your account through your Profile (where available). We may terminate or suspend access if you violate these Terms or if required for safety or legal compliance.

15) Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the business entity operating Character Dating and/or as required by consumer protection laws in your country. Any disputes will be handled in the appropriate courts or dispute-resolution forum as required by law.
