Refund Policy (Character Dating) — “The Rewind”

Character Dating is a digital, membership-based experience. Because access to tiers unlocks immediate features (including scripts, matching tools, and resonance functionality), refunds are handled with clarity, fairness, and in line with applicable consumer laws.

1) Digital Access & Immediate Delivery
When you purchase a paid tier (Standard, Hollywood, A‑List, Oscar), access is typically granted immediately. By starting to use paid features, you acknowledge that digital services are being delivered right away.

2) Cooling‑Off / Right of Withdrawal (EU/EEA/UK)
If you are located in the EU/EEA/UK, you may have a legal right to withdraw within 14 days. However, where permitted by law, this right can be lost once digital services begin (i.e., once you start using the paid tier) if you expressly consent to immediate performance. If withdrawal rights apply and have not been waived, we will process eligible refunds according to the law.

3) Subscription Cancellations
You can cancel anytime to stop future renewals. Cancellation prevents the next billing cycle but does not automatically refund the current period already paid, unless required by law or explicitly stated at checkout.

4) Refund Eligibility (When We’ll Consider It)
We may consider a refund or credit in cases such as:

• duplicate charges or billing errors;

• proven unauthorized transactions (after reasonable verification);

• a major service outage or technical failure that materially prevented access to paid features.

5) Non‑Refundable Situations (Where Allowed by Law)
Except where consumer law requires otherwise, we generally do not refund:

• partially used subscription periods;

• purchases where paid features were accessed and used;

• dissatisfaction based on match outcomes, resonance results, or other probabilistic features (matching is not guaranteed).

6) How to Request a Refund
To request a refund review, contact us at info@sovereignsanctuary.de with: your account email, the tier purchased, purchase date, and the reason for the request (plus any relevant screenshots/receipts). If approved, refunds are issued to the original payment method and may take several business days to appear depending on your bank/payment provider.
